A continuation of hiking the ID/MT Divide ridgeline sometimes in forested areas and more times high up on open rolling hills and meadows, usually just cross-country with no trail but all very nice.
The big feature today was the Cave of Bones. A vertical hole in the limestone cliff that is rumored to trap bison in winter when they fall in through the snow. It's filled with old bones. I climbed half way down into it but my itouch doesn't have a flash so the pictures are not great.
Deadman lake in the afternoon was very inviting and I took a long break here. At Tendoy creek I found Sycamore camping and joined him. Surprised to find we hiked 32 miles today.
