Today's highlight was the "Parting of the Waters" at Two Oceans Pass. It's a special place where the Two Ocean Creek splits at the Continental Divide and the two legs of the creek drain in two directions. One side flows East to the Atlantic Ocean and the other side West to the Pacific Ocean. Straddling the river, with one foot on the east side and one on the west, hypothetically, do I have one foot in the Atlantic and the other in the Pacific Ocean?
After a steep climb out of the pass there was a series of green rolling balds that reminded me of the Smokey Mountains complete with misting rain and hazy mountain views.
Crossing the Two Oceans Plateau and entering the Fox Park area I officially have entered Yellowstone Park. Camping almost on the southern national park border.
