Sat, Jun 8 - Trail Magic

A whole day with no snow or mud.  Dry feet!  Met up with Norm, then Flyby, and then Puck, and we hiked together.  Ran into a SoBo Colorado Trail hiker who said we were the 19th CDT hikers he saw today.  The hordes of Creade cutoff hikers has re-joined the trail ahead of us.

Found coolers of trail magic soda on the trail, then a rope with a bag tied in a tree that said trail magic, but it was empty. Finally just before we made camp we met a couple who maintain this section of trail and they gave me a banana, bagel, and dehydrated breakfast for the morning.  Nice easy hiking day.
