Sun, July 8th - Leaving the VVR vortex

Had a giant burrito for breakfast, scored some hiker box food, bought coffee, and had burgers for lunch before finally getting out of this resort.  Took the 4:30 ferry with Dr. Haus, Chowdown, the two brothers, and others.  They camped early as I hiked on hoping to camp near Silver pass as some girls had told me it would be a great place to see the sunset.  Was able to climb to within a mile of the pass before darkness and my full belly slowed me down.  I camped in a great alpine meadow beside a lake and slept late missing the sunrise.  In the morning I ate dinner for breakfast since I was too full to eat the night before.
